TERMS & CONDITIONS
‘Event’ means Black Isle Belter 2025. ‘Venue’ means Black Isle Showground, Mannsfield, Muir of Ord, IV6 7RS. ‘Arena’ means the site where performances are taking place. ‘Organisers’ means Beyond Events Presents Ltd (Company Registration No: SC498183). ‘Ticket’ means any official/valid ticket for You to attend the Event. ‘You’ means you as the holder of the Ticket. ‘Your’ should be read accordingly. These Terms & Conditions should be read in accordance with any Ticket agent and/or Venue terms, Terms & Conditions and regulations, copies of which are available upon request from the Ticket agent and/or Venue. These Terms & Conditions and any agent and/or Venue terms, Terms & Conditions and regulations are collectively referred to as ‘Terms & Conditions’.
AGE RESTRICTIONS – SATURDAY 3RD MAY 2025 No Children under the age of 16 permitted. Young Persons 16 - 17 years must be accompanied by an adult 21 or over (1 adult minimum per 2 persons aged between 16 - 17 years old).
AGE RESTRICTIONS – SUNDAY 4TH MAY 2025 All ages are permitted. Persons 0 - 17 years must be accompanied by an adult 21 or over (1 adult minimum per 2 persons aged between 0 - 17 years old).
- The Event is subject to licence
- All Tickets are sold subject to the Terms & Conditions and any other rules and regulations referred to herein or that may be applicable to the Event. Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully prior to purchase and raise any queries with the organisers prior to purchase. Purchase or possession of a Ticket constitutes acceptance of the Terms & Conditions.
- Ticket purchases may be restricted to a maximum number which will be displayed on the Ticket agent’s website at the time of purchase. Tickets purchased in excess of this limit may be cancelled by the Organisers without prior notice, unless the excess purchase was an error on the part of the Organisers.
- We reserve the right to implement additional restrictions/Terms & Conditions before and during the Event to ensure it is safe, including any government guidance. You must comply with any such restrictions/Terms & Conditions and any instructions given to you by Event staff and stewards and you may be refused entry or evicted without a refund if you fail to comply.
- Only customers holding an official/valid Ticket will be admitted to an Event. It is Your responsibility to check that You and Your guests are permitted to attend the Event and have the appropriate Ticket(s). Do not buy Tickets or goods from unlawful sources. There is no guarantee that your Ticket is valid for entry unless purchased from official ticket agents for the Event.
- There will be an Accessible Viewing Platform at the Event, but access to this area will be limited.
- With the exception of special assistance dogs, authorised working dogs and police dogs, no animals are permitted at the Event.
- Carer/Personal Assistant tickets for those wishing to accompany a paying customer are available for this event, subject to providing one of the following documentation dated within the past 12 months or with valid date covering the event: The front page of DLA letter or PIP letter The front page of Attendance Allowance letter Evidence of being registered as severely sight impaired (blind) Recognised Assistance Dog ID card Valid Access Card showing you require a +1 to accompany you If this applies to you then please contact the Skiddle Customer Support team with your documentation and 16-digit order reference number by submitting a support request here https://help.skiddle.com/en/.
- If You have any specific access requirements or concerns about any special effects which may be featured at the Event, please contact the organisers before purchasing the Tickets by email to blackislebelter@beyondpresents.co.uk.
- Upon purchase, please check Tickets carefully as mistakes cannot always be rectified after purchase. Tickets are not issued on a sale or return basis and refunds will not be made on returned Tickets unless provided for under the Terms & Conditions.
- Proof of age may be requested at entry, and anyone found in possession of fake ID will be refused entry and the ID will be confiscated. Please ensure you bring an acceptable form of photographic ID such as Passport, Driving Licence, Young Scot Card and CitizenCard.
- We do not act in any parental or supervisory capacity for under 18s on site. This does not affect our legal duties to any attendee in respect of, or obligation to comply with, any applicable laws including health and safety or licensing laws.
- Challenge 25 will be in operation at the bars ensuring access is restricted to persons 18 and over. Proof of age in the form of acceptable photographic ID may be required (see Point above)
- Your Ticket or wristband (if applicable) may be invalidated if any part of it is removed, altered or defaced.
- The Organisers will not be responsible for any Ticket or wristband (if applicable) that is lost, stolen or destroyed.
- Please respect the local residents when travelling to and from the Event and keep noise to a minimum. Follow designated entry routes.
- Car parking is free of charge but vehicles cannot be left overnight. All vehicles are parked at the owners risk and the Organisers are not liable for any theft, loss or damage to the vehicle while parked. Please note we reserve the right to search all vehicles.
- Tickets must not be used as part of any marketing, media or sales promotion, whether commercial or otherwise, without the prior written approval of Organisers.
- Tickets and wristbands (if applicable) remain the property of the Organisers at all times and are subject to the Terms & Conditions. Tickets obtained in breach of the Terms & Conditions shall be null and void and admission refused. Any person seeking to use a void Ticket will be ejected. Void Tickets are non refundable.
- The Organisers reserve the right to refuse You entry to and/or eject You from the Event in circumstances including, but not limited to, health and safety or licensing reasons; if You behave in a manner which has or is likely to affect the enjoyment of other persons at the Event; if You use or display threatening, abusive or insulting words or mannerisms; if you are found in possession of any prohibited items (see Point 26) or illegal items; if, in the Organisers reasonable opinion, You are acting under the influence of alcohol or drugs; if You fail, when required, to produce proof of identity or age; if You refuse to comply with the Organisers security searches; if You breach the Terms & Conditions; or if Your Ticket is void. No refunds will be given to You if You are refused entry or ejected due to Your own behaviour.
- The unauthorised use of equipment for photographing, recording or transmitting (by digital or other means) any audio, visual or audio visual material at the Event is strictly forbidden. You are not permitted to bring any such equipment into the Event. Any recording or transmitting equipment including professional cameras, unauthorised recordings, tapes, films or similar items may be confiscated and/or destroyed by the Organisers. Any recording made of an Event in breach of these Terms & Conditions shall belong to the Organisers and You agree to assign any and all rights in the recording to the Organisers. The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, theft or damage to confiscated items.
- By attending an Event, You give Your express consent to Your actual or simulated likeness to be included for no fee within any film, photograph, audio and/or audio visual recording to be exploited in any and all media for the Event. This includes filming by the police or security staff which may be carried out for the safety and security of Event attendees and for the prevention of crime.
- You must comply with any and all instructions given to You by the Organisers and/or all Event stewards and staff. The Organisers reserves the right to restrict access to parts of the Venue.
- You shall not bring into the Venue or display or distribute at the Event any sponsorship, promotional or marketing materials.
- Ticket holders who leave the Arena will not be permitted to re-enter the Event. You may only leave and then re-enter the Venue during the Event at the discretion of the Organisers. Otherwise there shall be no re-admissions or pass outs of any kind.
- Inappropriate and unsafe behaviour such as crowd surfing, moshing and starting crowd circles is dangerous and causes harm across the full crowd. Throwing objects and the use of flares and smoke devices is extremely dangerous and can cause serious injury. This behaviour and any other inappropriate and/or unsafe behaviour is not permitted and we reserve the right to remove offenders from the Event and refer to Police Scotland.
- No trading of any items in or around the Arena without the consent of Organisers, including goods with unauthorised Event or any artist logos. Anyone found doing so will have their goods confiscated, be removed from the Event and referred to Police Scotland.
- Any person in possession of prohibited items may be refused entry or removed from the Event and may risk prosecution. Items will be confiscated, not returned and the holder may be referred to Police Scotland. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:
- Flares, gas or smoke devices;
- Gazebos
- Chairs
- Unofficial tabards and Hi-Vis reflective jackets/tabards
- Fake ID
- Flagpoles
- Umbrellas
- Selfie sticks
- Inflatables
- Fireworks, sparklers, confetti cannons, blow torches, sky or ‘Chinese’ lanterns
- Petrol burners, firewood, candles or any flames
- Generators
- Excessive amounts of cigarettes and/or vapes
- Professional camera/video/audio equipment including removable lenses & drones
- Portable laser equipment & laser pens
- Air horns & megaphones
- Sound systems
- Kites, Frisbees & boomerangs
- Spray paint cans
- Aerosols over 250ml
- Camping equipment
- Disposable barbecues & campsite stoves
- Any item that could be considered a weapon including multi tools
- Unofficial Merchandise
- Glass
- Organisers may confiscate any item that is deemed and/or suspected illegal or unsuitable. Anyone found in possession may be handed to Police Scotland or refused entry to the Event. This includes, but is not limited to, illegal or intoxicating substances including drugs, new psychoactive substances (NPS), nitrous oxide (NOS)/laughing gas and associated equipment including balloons, and unidentifiable substances.
- Recognisable prescribed medicine which is clearly labelled and packaged is permitted into the Event. If in doubt, a letter of authorisation can be requested from organisers in advance blackislebelter@beyondpresents.co.uk.
- Please only bring a bag into the Arena if it is absolutely essential. Those bringing bags will be separated into bag search lanes and may be delayed as a result of these searches. Bags larger that the size of an A3 sheet of paper (30cm x 42cm) will NOT be permitted in the Arena. Please note that lockers are NOT available at the Event.
- You are not permitted to bring food or drink of any type into the Arena. Any food or drink found will be confiscated. Food and drink will be available for purchase at the Event. Anyone with a medical condition which requires them to bring food and/or drink into the Arena should contact organisers in advance blackislebelter@beyondpresents.co.uk to obtain an authorisation letter or make themselves known to the gate manager/supervisor of the Event who will assist accordingly. Please be aware that no glass is permitted on site.
- Hard plastic, metal, or glass water bottles or backpack hydration packs are not permitted into the Event and will be confiscated and cannot be returned. Please only bring empty soft water bottles or empty collapsible/foldable drinking pouches with you to fill at the drinking water points available in the Arena.
- Organisers operate a zero tolerance underage drinking policy. No one under the age of 18 is permitted to enter the Event if they are believed to be under the influence of alcohol. If you are unable to produce ID evidencing that you are 18 years old or over if challenged within the Arena, your alcohol will be confiscated and you will be removed from the Event. If a child or young person under 18 is in your care and caught drinking alcohol, you and the child or young person and any other children or young people in your care will be removed from the Event and a referral made to social services. If a child or young person is found intoxicated, welfare will contact their parents and determine if a referral to social services is required. If anyone over the age of 18 is caught supplying alcohol to someone underage, they will be removed from the Event and may risk prosecution. These are illegal activities and will not be tolerated or permitted under any circumstances.
- There is no camping at the Event. Unauthorised camping is not permitted anywhere in or around the Venue and Arena and any tents found will be removed and not returned.
- Lost property found and handed in to the organisers will be passed to Police Scotland after the Event.
- Tickets are sold subject to the Organisers right to alter or vary the advertised Event where reasonably necessary. Artists and billed attractions are subject to change, this includes changes to the line up, timings and individual members of a band. Refunds are only considered on major cancellation i.e. the Event is cancelled in full and not rescheduled. Refunds will not apply if the Event is delayed in commencing or is brought to a close early when the majority of the Event has taken place.
- It is Your responsibility to ascertain whether an Event has been cancelled or rescheduled. Where an Event is cancelled or rescheduled, the Organisers will use reasonable endeavours to notify You using the details You provided at the time of booking. The Organisers do not guarantee that You will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the Event. It is Your responsibility to inform Your Ticket agent of any change to the contact details you provided at the time of purchase.
- Where an Event is cancelled or rescheduled and you cannot or do not wish to attend the rescheduled Event, You will be entitled to claim a refund limited to the face value of the Ticket purchased. Personal arrangements including travel, subsistence, hospitality and accommodation relating to the Event which have been arranged by You are at Your own risk and the Organisers shall not be liable for any expenditure beyond the Ticket face value. Unless otherwise instructed by Organisers, Your refund for a cancelled Event will be administered by the Ticket agent from whom You purchased Your Ticket.
- You agree that the Organisers will not be liable for any loss, injury or damage to any person (including Yourself) or property however caused (including by the Organisers): (a) in any circumstances where there is no breach of a legal duty of care owed by the Organisers; (b) in circumstances where such loss or damage is not a reasonably foreseeable result of any such breach (save for death or personal injury resulting from the Organisers, its servants or agents negligence); or (c) to the extent that any increase in any loss or damage results from breach by You of any of the Conditions.
- Nothing in the Terms & Conditions seeks to exclude or limit any liability of Organisers for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud or any other type of liability which cannot by law be excluded or limited.
- The Organisers will not be liable to You for failure to perform any obligation under these or any other Terms & Conditions to the extent that the failure is caused by Force Majeure. For the purposes of the Terms & Conditions, ‘Force Majeure’ means any cause beyond the Organisers control, including, but not limited to, act of God, war, insurrection, riot, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, subsidence, lightning, earthquake or other natural disaster, weather of exceptional severity, epidemic, pandemic, disease, royal mourning, national mourning, theft of essential equipment, malicious damage, strike, lock out, third party injunction, national defence requirements, acts or regulations of national or local governments.
- To the fullest extent permissible in law, the Organisers shall be entitled to assign all and any of its rights and obligations under the Terms & Conditions, provided that Your rights are not adversely affected.
- If any provision of the Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be severed or amended in such a manner as to render the rest of the provision(s) and remainder of the Terms & Conditions valid or enforceable.
- If the Organisers delays or fails to enforce any of the Terms & Conditions it shall not mean that the Organisers has waived its right to do so.
- Any person, other than the Organisers, who is not a party to the Terms & Conditions, shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of the Terms & Conditions
- Nothing in the Conditions and no action taken by You or the Organisers under the Terms & Conditions shall create, or be deemed to create, a partnership, joint venture or establish a relationship of principal and agent or any other fiduciary relationship between You and the Terms & Conditions.
- You and the Organisers both agree that it has not entered into the Terms & Conditions in reliance of, and shall have no remedy in respect of, any statement, representation, covenant, warranty, undertaking or indemnity by any person other than as expressly set out in the Terms & Conditions. Nothing in this clause shall operate to limit or exclude any liability for fraud.
- The Terms & Conditions do not and shall not affect Your statutory rights as a consumer. For further information about your statutory rights contact Citizens Advice, Consumer Direct or the Department for Business Innovation and Skills.
- If any dispute arises out of the Terms & Conditions, Organisers will attempt to settle it. To this end Organisers shall use its reasonable endeavours to consult or negotiate in good faith and attempt to reach a just and equitable settlement satisfactory to both parties.
- The Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties in connection to the subject matter of the Terms & Conditions and supersede any previous terms and conditions, agreement or arrangement between You and the Organisers relating to the subject matter of the Terms & Conditions. However, nothing in the Terms & Conditions shall purport to exclude liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. The Terms & Conditions cannot be varied or amended in any respect (unless agreed between You and the Organisers in writing).
- The Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Scotland and parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
